Dear Families,

February is filled with so many fun activities and I can’t wait to see all the fun students will have. I truly believe that school should be a place where students come to learn and have fun. We will be celebrating 100 days of school soon and in these 100 days I’ve seen so much growth in all of our children. I am very proud of all their hard work. I am also thankful to each of you for working alongside us and all of your support.

Febrero está lleno de tantas actividades divertidas y no puedo esperar a ver toda la diversión que tendrán los estudiantes. Realmente creo que la escuela debe ser un lugar donde los estudiantes vengan a aprender y divertirse. Pronto celebraremos los 100 días de clases y en estos 100 días he visto mucho crecimiento en todos nuestros niños. Estoy muy orgulloso de todo su arduo trabajo. También estoy agradecido con cada uno de ustedes por trabajar junto a nosotros y todo su apoyo.

Dear P.S. 92 Families,

It is with excitement that I write my first letter for our monthly newsletter. Each month you will get a newsletter that has information for each grade. You will get information on what your child/children are learning for the month. This is a great way to be acquainted on the topics that our children are learning about in class.

I want to thank everyone who came to watch our “Boo Parade.” It was great seeing so many families join us for this fun event. Our children and staff members were very excited and it was a successful event. It has also been a pleasure for me this past month and half to get to know our families as I walk around during arrivals and dismissals. P.S. 92 has great families and students and I am grateful to be a part of it.

The month of November brings more exciting events such as “Coffee with the Principal” on November 10 at 9:00am. I look forward to spending time with you all that day. We also have our Fall Parent Teacher Conferences taking place November 4 from 1-3 and 4:30-7:30, all conferences will be held virtually. On November 11, schools will be closed for Veterans Day. Schools will also be closed November 25 and 26 for Thanksgiving.

Stay tuned for our new website that will be launching soon. It is my hope that the website is easier to navigate. Please try and visit our website weekly for important updates and notices. Thank you for welcoming me into the P.S. 92 family, this Thanksgiving I am thankful for this opportunity and I hope you all know that I am here to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your children.
